Steele Magnolia Sanctuary - Horses & Hayrides Summer Camp

Give your child a summer experience they won’t forget at the Horses & Hayrides Summer Camp hosted by Steele Magnolia Sanctuary! Designed for boys and girls ages 5–16, this one-day camp is packed with fun, hands-on activities that introduce kids to the joy of working with horses in a safe and welcoming environment. Camp Activities Include: • Horseback riding • Grooming and horse care • Horse painting (a kid favorite!) • Crafts • Hayride • Picnic with the horses Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Cost: $85 per child Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and enjoy the experience! Whether your child is horse-obsessed or just looking for something fun and different this summer, this camp is the perfect mix of adventure, creativity, and outdoor fun.

Ruby's Happy Farm - Feel Good Weekend

Slow down and soak it all in at Feel Good Weekend – A Soul-Filled Experience happening June 19–21, 2026 at Ruby’s Happy Farm. This three-day experience is all about good food, beautiful music, and meaningful moments shared in nature. Kick things off Friday evening with the Feel Good Feast at 6:00 PM – a farm-to-table dinner prepared by Chef Kibwe, paired with live jazz music by Fredrick Weathersby for a relaxed and elevated start to the weekend. On Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, enjoy the Feel Good Fest featuring live entertainment, hands-on workshops, and activities designed for the whole family. Wrap up the weekend on Sunday at 4:00 PM with the Feel Good Picnic, a laid-back afternoon filled with relaxing, family-friendly activities in a peaceful outdoor setting. Come eat well, connect deeply, and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.

City of Springfield Freedom Fest 2026

The City of Springfield’s Freedom Fest, presented by Grace Baptist Church, will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, 4635 US-41. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Easton Corbin will be the featured headliner at the city’s sixth annual Freedom Fest, presented by Grace Baptist Church. Winner of the 2010 CMA Artist of the Year award, he is known for his authentic country sound and chart-topping hits. With No. 1 singles like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” Easton has become a favorite among country music fans nationwide. Freedom Fest will also feature performances by classic rock/new country band Buzzy Poole & the Department of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The Nashville Soundz will also hit the stage and perform a wide range of multi-genre music. In addition to live music, Freedom Fest will feature carnival rides, inflatables, and local vendors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors. The evening will conclude with the city’s fireworks display around 9:30 p.m. Free parking is available at Legion Park. A clear bag policy will be enforced at the event. Non-transparent bags will not be permitted. Stay tuned to our social media for updates. Vendors: Join us as a vendor at the City of Springfield's annual Freedom Fest Celebration! Boasting attendance growth of 5,000 in 2021 to 9,300 in 2023. Vendor space is limited and is offered first come, first serve. A completed application does not equal acceptance into the event. Application review and approval will be ongoing until booth space is sold out. No food vendor applications will be accepted. Apply to be a vendor. Sponsorship Opportunities: Excitement builds for this event year after year, with attendance reaching over 9,000 in 2023. The City of Springfield offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities ranging from monetary donations to in-kind contributions of goods and services. In return for their support, sponsors receive recognition through various marketing channels, including social media, event flyers, and event signage. Some sponsorships also include VIP seating and hospitality services at the event.
